So I’ve spent the day today, lazing around, having a nice, relaxing day.  I decided to go blog hopping around some blogs that I’ve never seen before.  I’m always looking for something new to dissect and make into my own little project.  I found a blog from someone that does a lot of stamping and she had several blogs listed that she likes to visit.  I literally spend 80% of today surfing those blogs.  Here is what I found… I’m a total blog snob!  If the blog itself isn’t visually appealing right off the bat, I click back and move to the next one.  I found that the one thing that I can’t stand is blogs that are really wide and have nothing other than white space, with a sidebar full of links and nothing more.  For some reason, that’s a little to simplistic to me.  Maybe its just a matter of someone that doesn’t do very much on the internet and most of their craft is paper based or something like that….but it still bugs me.  I’m probably missing something awesome by clicking back and not looking forward.  I guess I’ll never know.

Christmas was wonderful and as always, over before I knew it.  We had dinner at my parents house and the food was just amazing.  My mom did something different this year and made salmon, tri-tip, asparagus, baked potatoes and other wonderful veggies.  It was different from our normal turkey dinner and while I wasn’t looking forward to it at first because it wasn’t “traditional” I’m glad that she did it!  Way to go MOM!!

I’m hoping to get some things done tomorrow to show off.  I’m working on Baby Shower invitations for my daughter.  She is due in February and we’re having the shower January 26th. She’s chosen a “Pea Pod” theme so I’ve been working on coming up with a design that she loves.  I finally found something today and got everything drawn up and printing. Now I just need to color it, cut it, ink it and create the envelopes.  Should be a cake walk

Keep an eye out tomorrow and I’ll update with some pictures of the invites…and maybe some new ideas I have rolling around in my head.
